The US outfit has yet to incorporate improvements in to its car since Australian and for Monaco they removed the flimsy bargeboard deflectors, which made the VF-18 anything but competitive. Yet, Romain moved on to Q2, but his three place Barcelona penalty put him P18 on the grid. With no drama to help his cause, the Frenchman put in 77 inconspicuous laps around the Principality.
