Toro Rosso has announced its planned driver schedule for the final two pre-season tests at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

While Red Bull suffered a tough first test at Jerez last week, Toro Rosso enjoyed a much more productive four days as the team completed 353 laps, with the mileage split fairly evenly between its two rookie drivers.

For the final two tests Toro Rosso has opted to stick with its schedule of alternating drivers throughout the four days. The team told F1i that current plans for the second test will see Max Verstappen driving on the opening day and third day while team-mate Carlos Sainz Jr will be in the STR10 on days two and four.

The planned schedule will then reverse for the final test, with Sainz Jr driving on the first and third days, and Verstappen on day two as well as the final day of testing.

The second pre-season test runs from February 19-22, with the third test taking place from February 26-March 1.
