Haas untroubled by lack of sponsorship

Haas boss Guenther Steiner isn't the least bit troubled by the team's lack of sponsorship as it embarks on its second F1 season.

The US outfit's main partner is obviously the Haas Automation brand, but with the exception  of Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille, the beautiful gray and red livery of its VF17 is currently sponsor-free.

"I think if you look at the teams which have been here a long time and are very stable, they have no big sponsors," Steiner said.

"It's a difficult market for sponsors, I must say. I think if somebody wanted to sponsor us, then they are just waiting a little bit to see if we are stable in what we are doing.

"Would we have hoped to have a little bit more [on the car]? Sure. But we are fortunate that Haas Automation sponsors us, so we don't live on sponsors, we can survive without that.

"We will try to get sponsors on the car, but it's a difficult market."
