Unsurprisingly, the modifications made to the winglet have an impact on the aerodynamic appendages sitting in its wake.

Indeed, going over the new notched deflector (blue arrow), the airflow is altered, and it is therefore necessary to reshape the parts located in its stream accordingly (yellow arrow).

This is why Maranello's aerodynamicists have reworked the fins installed on the rear brake drum, that is to say in the area between the wheel and the rear wing endplate.
