Ocon qualified P13 with an uncompetitive Force India, but well ahead of Pérez. He then picked off three cars at the start and was in the hunt for points. He would’ve been there if not for a miss-threaded rear wheel-nut that cost him 25 seconds. He then suffered a radiator problem, which resulted in a second straight DNF, a first for Mr. Oconsistency.
