While he out-qualified Max and enjoyed his ninth trip to the podium this year, the Honey Badger’s performance wasn’t enough to produce his trade mark ear-to-ear grin as Verstappen was once again a notch above on Sunday. After passing Ocon early on it was a lonely drive to third for Ricciardo.
