RED BULL IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF FERRARI

For once, Red Bull drew a leaf out of Ferrari’s aero book in Singapore, with the constantly-evolving RB 13 fitted with a bargeboard design similar to what the SF70H has been sporting this year. Placed in the wake of the front tyres, the part, which features a pair of cuts in the middle, helps shield the lower sidepod area from the dirty air coming off the rotating wheels.

Like on the Mercedes, the Red Bull bargeboard comes with a vane placed up ahead. It is worth noting that Williams added a similar element to its FW40 last weekend as well.

What’s more, Red Bull’s two-plane T-wing assembly had been tweaked for a rounder design.
