In Saturday's qualifying deluge, Lewis Hamilton rained on his rivals' parade. In the race, the Silver Arrows spoiled the Tifosi’s Sunday, relegating Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel to a distant third and overhauling his title rival in the championship. F1i rates and reviews the action from The Temple of Speed.

Jolyon Palmer (retired) : 5.5/10

While track conditions were perhaps favourable for something heroic, Palmer couldn’t move past Q1. 17th due to the array of penalties (which he escaped), he didn’t get a good start. But his race pace was rather good with the 12th best race lap and another vigorous battle with Alonso which cost him a 5-second penalty however. But in the end, a black cat reared its head again.
