RENAULT’S STRIATED BARGEBOARDS
After a first round of tweaks at the Spanish Grand Prix, Renault updated the R.S.17’s bargeboards again, as shown by the revised striated lower area. The French team continues to take a leaf out of Mercedes’ copybook and aero philosophy of segmentation, though the exact purpose of the new and unique design remains unknown at the moment.
