F1i's driver ratings for the Bahrain GP

Jolyon Palmer (thirteenth): 6.5/10

A weekend of contrasts for the Briton. In qualifying, he made his way into the top ten for the first time in his career. The Renault was much happier in the timed lap exercise than in the 57 lap GP. After quickly dropping three positions, the safety car period didn’t allow him to make up the lost ground. Joylon had a few run-ins with Kyvat, but despite a few nice duels he just didn’t have sufficient pace.
