Lewis Hamilton's contract negotiations with Mercedes are going about as quickly as the United Kingdom's Brexit plans. Despite initially saying everything would be done and dusted by Melbourne, Hamilton's future in F1 remains up in the air.

So what's the sticking point? Maybe the four-time world champion wants an upgrade on his company car, and has this one in mind!

It's a Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, originally released in 2016. And we have to admit it looks pretty awesome. It's a 2+2 seater luxury-class coupé which "represents the ultimate in contemporary luxury," according to Daimler's chief design officer Gorden Wagener

"It is hot and cool," he added. "“With its intelligent appeal and reduced, technoid look, it perfectly embodies our design philosophy of sensual purity and our pursuit of aerodynamic efficiency!"

Or as Lewis puts it more succinctly in his Twitter post accompanying this picture: "I want this car!!!!!"

We can't say we blame him. He previously owned an S600 Maybach with a number of high-class modifications including 22-inch alloy wheels and rear seat entertainment and comfort features including heated steering wheel. We're pretty sure you don't get one of those on a W09!

It was up for sale last month for just over £100,000 - not bad if you're in the second hand car market!

Meanwhile, if you prefer your luxury supercar photos without annoying celebrities standing in front of them, here's how the Maybach 6 looks on the Mercedes website.
